The Foxfire chronicles are recorded by Maddy Monkey.  She writes about all the situations they’ve been in, and all the revenge they’ve gotten on different people.  Even though the whole gang is in the story it is mainly about Legs, and her attitude towards the gang and life.  Her hatred and strength make  her an incredible leader.  Throughout the novel the girls share their lives together through all the hard times of anger, and abuse.    


The girls of Foxfire are strong, and smart for their age.  They may not be in the best situation since they are in a gang and do not have the best lives at home, but they know how to take care of themselves and each other.  They are inspiring because they are always there for each other and will do anything for one another.   They have pride in what they created and throughout the years they earned more and more power through what they did.  The girls are forever linked together not only by sharing blood, but by all that they’ve been through.
