Pride and Pejudice by Jane Austen

The novel, Pride and Pejudice by Jane Austen, was overall very good. I would rate it an 8 because it was a classic love story and by far a very outstanding novel. Jane, the eldest and most beautiful Bennet daughter, has her heart broken by Mr. Bingley. At the end of story, she finds love and becomes very happy. One of the younger sisters, Lydia, runs off and marries the horrible Mr. Wickham. Only Elizabeth knows the truth that he is a horrible man. Mr. Darcy does fall madly in love with Elizabeth, but she refuses him believing him to be a bad man. He proves himself in a letter to be a much better man than she had previously thought. Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy eventually realize they were both full of pride and work out their differences, which end very happily for the two lovers. The story was mainly about finding true love and what you would do to keep that love. Sometimes it means proving yourself worthy, and other times it just means waiting for the right guy to come along.
