The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn

The Book the Adventures of Huckleberry has turned into a great novel as I continue to get deeper and deeper into the book.  The beginning started off pretty slowly talking about Huck's life and what's going on with the widow who takes care of him, to his dad trying to get him back.  Eventually Huck ends up living with his dad in a cabin across the river from the town so no one can find him.  When his dad leaves he locks the door to the cabin and goes down to the town and gets drunk.  While he's gone Huck uses the saw he finds to saw his way out of an opening in the wall.  When he gets out he kicks down the door, leaves a trail of blood using a pig, and takes food, supply and a gun and ammo to make it seem like someone came in robbed the house and killed him.  After escaping he uses the canoe he found to take him down river to an abandoned island known as Jackson Island where he makes his camp.  There he runs into the slave that used to live with him when he was with the widow.  Together they make a new camp.  After a while, Huck and Jim decided that Huck should go down to the town and see what people think happened to him and Jim.  So Huck dresses up as a girl and goes down to town where he meets a women who easily out smarts him and finds out he is really a boy.   The women tells Huck that they think the slave Jim killed him and is hiding out on the island where they actually are.  She also tells him that there is a big reward for whoever finds Jim and that her husband is leaving at midnight to go look for him on Jackson Island where they both are hiding.  Immediately after hearing  this he goes back to the island, wakes up Jim and tells him they're coming to look for him.  Jim without questioning jumps up and helps pack up all their stuff and they head off down river to get away from the people coming.
